Working with IBRA: IBRA South Africa receives a large consignment of our Bible reading notes. These are then sold, with a small amount being given away to those readers who may not be able to afford the total cost of the books upfront.
As with IBRA in the UK, IBRA South Africa has many loyal subscribers who value the notes and wish to continue receiving them. However more support would help sustain and hopefully increase readership.

Good news is the praise we receive for these books. Most of our readers have subscribed for many years. Probably 75% are pensioners. Most order each year. To expand our subscriber list we advertise in a national church magazine.
Many of our subscribers ordered are former Words for Today and Light for our Path readers. We have encouraged this in our literature.
Here in South Africa we need to stimulate a general culture of daily Bible reading in all age groups and among all our people. There is room here for a combined marketing campaign among all the agencies stressing the value of daily Bible reading.
