Discover Fresh Insights Every Day

Fresh from The Word offers a year of daily Bible readings, each accompanied by thought-provoking reflections, prayers, and practical applications. Each year's edition explores the presence of Christ walking beside us, encouraging readers to share His tender love with the world. With diverse contributions from over 50 international writers, this resource delivers a broad spectrum of perspectives, addressing both timeless truths and contemporary issues from the Bible.

Stephen Cottrell, Archbishop of York and foreword writer for Fresh from The Word 2025 captures our ethos for our readers:

“The Christian faith is new every morning, and that's a wonderful reason to read the scriptures each day . . . Let us seek to be encouragers to one another as we journey on together. My prayer is that God will give you faith, hope, and love for whatever the coming year brings.”

Our Readings Group

We have a dedicated team of Christian leaders who come together twice a year with David to think and pray through the themes for the year that is being developed. They then meet again with thoughts and suggestions for Bible verses and books that reflect these themes. Which are then sent to our commissioned writers who live throughout the World.

Our Writers

Bringing together theologians, scholars, creative writers, church leaders and activists from around the world, Fresh from The Word offers notes, prayers and further thought suggestions for every day of the year.
